Sunday School

At ARC we believe that studying God's Word is essential to our journey of faith. Christian education opportunities are available throughout the year. Sunday School is in session at every Sunday at 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. during the school year. Classes are available for all ages, from pre-kindergarten through adult. The Sunday School year begins on the Sunday after Labor Day and continues through Children’s Day (usually the second week in June).

Children's Class

We celebrate the start of a Sunday school class for ages 3-12. The 9:30-10:15 class time includes a Bible story and age-appropriate activities. The class will meet in the middle room on the right of the downstairs hallway. For more information contact Theresa Lasselle or Nancy McNiven (nancymacarc@gmail.com).

Youth Class

Youth must be registered for these classes. Registration forms are in the back of the sanctuary and on the volunteer table in Fellowship Hall. For more information contact Dan Capuano, Theresa Lasselle, or Nancy McNiven.

Adult Class

Religions of the world are no longer distant and foreign. They are the faiths of our friends, neighbors, classmates, and co-workers. Too often we are afraid of their faiths, relying on stereotypes and prejudices rather than seeking to understand them. Adult Sunday School returns on Sept. 23 and we will begin with a ten-week session looking at four major world religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and Islam. We will try to take a generous, honest, and open approach to exploring these religions, trying to understand them on their own terms. The goal of this study is to increase our understanding so that we can affirm laudable aspects of those faiths and better understand and relate with our friends and neighbors of other religions. If you want to participate, please let Pastor Matthew (pastormatthew.arc@gmail.com) know so we can purchase enough materials.
